From the WWE Rumor Mill: Ric Flair's asking price for two and three-hour events released
What's the story?
Ric Flair is a legend in the wrestling business and even though his regular wrestling days are over, ‘The Nature Boy’ still makes sporadic appearances for his daughter Charlotte and other WWE events.
However, Dave Meltzer reports that the senior Flair is now taking limited bookings for autograph signings and even quoted the price to book the legend.
In case you didn't know...
Flair is one of the biggest names in the history of wrestling and even though he doesn’t appear on a lot of TV shows, ‘The Nature Boy’ is still one of the biggest draws in the world of wrestling.
The heart of the matter
Meltzer reports that the legend is now taking up autograph signing events for two and three hours in his latest Observer Newsletter.
Flair reportedly takes $15,000 for a two-hour long signing event and that moves up to $20,000 when it becomes three hours.
What's next?
Flair was seen with Charlotte when she won the SmackDown women’s championship defeating Natalya.
The 16-time champ was also part of the crew which was present during NXT TakeOver which was themed on WarGames and should be making more appearances in the WWE, especially with the Charlotte storyline picking up after Survivor Series.
Author's take
Being a legend in the business, Flair can pretty much charge whatever he wants when he has to make appearances and autograph signing events.
‘The Nature Boy’ might be 68 but he has made a great recovery from a serious illness recently and hopefully, we will continue seeing him shine not only in the WWE but also in other appearances.
