What’s the story?

Sasha Banks has taken to social media to tease a potential move from Monday Night RAW to SmackDown Live.

Addressing a Tweet by former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya, Banks alluded that she’d like to come to SmackDown Live:

In case you didn’t know…

The WWE organized a ‘Superstar Shakeup’ a few months ago, and per the vast majority of industry experts, the promotion is likely to have yet another shakeup before the end of this year.

Sasha Banks has held the RAW Women’s Championship 4 times and recently teased the possibility of wrestling Natalya, the latter of whom currently performs for SmackDown.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeated RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at WWE’s Survivor Series PPV this past Sunday.

In reference to the same, Natalya congratulated Flair on winning the matchup and proving that the blue brand’s Women’s belt is, in fact, the WWE’s top title; besides adding that she’s now more determined to regain her belt from ‘Queen’ Flair.

Replying to Natalya’s aforementioned social media post, Sasha Banks simply stated, that she be allowed to ‘come to blue’ -- the term ‘blue’ generally being associated with the SmackDown brand.

What’s next?

Sasha Banks presently performs for the WWE’s RAW brand and is yet to officially move to SmackDown…if at all.

Nevertheless, a potential move for ‘The Legit Boss’ to the blue brand isn’t exactly out of the realm of possibility, as the WWE is rumoured to be having another Superstar Shakeup before the 2017 calendar year runs out.

Author’s take

Sasha Banks may very well be one of the most underrated performers in the game today.

The Boss seems to have hit a plateau as of late, but would most definitely benefit from a move to SmackDown right now; especially when you consider the jam-packed Women’s roster on RAW, with the likes of Asuka, Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss patrolling the upper echelons of the division.
