From The WWE Rumor Mill: [Spoilers] Top Star injured in Dark Main Event after SmackDown Live
What's the story?
A top-level WWE star may have suffered a serious injury after SmackDown Live went off the air. Jeff Hardy was scheduled for a match against the Miz on the Dark Main Event after SmackDown Live in the London, O2 Arena.
Fans noticed that during his entrance he seemed to be hobbling to the ring, and appeared to be in pain.

In case you didn't know...
Jeff Hardy returned from injury very recently, after a long spell on the sidelines. He had suffered an injury to his shoulder during a Six-Pack Challenge on the 17th September 2017 edition of Raw. He had surgery in October, for his rotator cuff and was given a time frame of four to six months to return.
Upon his return, he was able to win the United States Championship from Jinder Mahal during the Superstar Shakeup. He then made the jump to SmackDown Live with his new Championship.
The heart of the matter
When Jeff was making his way down to the ring for the dark main event bout, fans noticed that he was limping. A doctor came out and checked on him, but the match went for 8 minutes nonetheless.
In the dark main event match, Jeff Hardy faced the Miz. They had an eight-minute bout, which ended when Hardy hit the Miz with a Swanton Bomb for the win.
Fans noted on Twitter, Hardy was limping before, during and after the match. He appeared to have injured himself during his entrance.
What's next?
Nothing has been confirmed as of this moment by WWE, but in case the injury is serious, then the timing could not be worse for Hardy.
He made his return to television recently after a long spell on the sidelines due to his rotator cuff injury.

Hardy's injury may have come at the worst possible time for him. If the injury is serious he will have to vacate the United States Title.
