From the WWE Rumor Mill: Table for 3 featuring The Shield to air immediately after RAW
What's the story?
An observant Twitter user found out that the WWE's planning to release a "Table for 3" episode featuring the recently Shield trio.
In case you didn't know...
Table for 3 is a part of WWE Network's original programming, wherein Superstars from past and the present sit in a restaurant and share road/life stories with each other over dinner.
The show debuted on August 6, 2015, on the WWE Network, with the late "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, and Paul Orndorff acting as the show's guests. The show later went on to have several guests such as The Nation of Domination, The Fourhorsemen, and The Kliq to name a few.
Unlike fellow Shield members Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, this won't be Dean Ambrose's first appearance on the show, as he has already appeared once along with Kevin Owens and Cesaro.
However, this marks the trio's second appearance together on an original WWE Network show, as this past week, The Hounds of Justice guest-starred on WWE Ride Along.
The heart of the matter
According to the immensely observant Twitter user @WWEPamela, the WWE is planning on releasing a 'Table for 3' episode this coming week featuring The Shield immediately following Monday Night RAW.
With Roman Reigns out-of-action due to viral meningitis, it would be logical to assume that the tapings may have occurred way in advance.
What's next?
This past week on RAW, in anticipation of Survivor Series, the SmackDown LIVE roster drew first-blood by taking down the red brand's Superstars via the numbers game. However, the Superstars of RAW did not retaliate due to real-life scheduling conflicts.
Although still out of the game due to Viral Meningitis, it's being speculated that Roman Reigns might just make it in-time to lead the RAW locker-room against the blue brand at Survivor Series.
Author's Take
A 'Table for 3' episode featuring The Shield will surely attract a lot of eyeballs towards it. If we can gauge their chemistry going by what we saw on Ride Along, then I think their episode on TF3 will be one for the ages.
