From the WWE Rumor Mill: The newly reunited Shield to get new entrance theme music?

Will The Shield have new entrance music for TLC 2017?
Will The Shield have new entrance music for TLC 2017?

What's the story?

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins reunited as the Shield on Monday Night Raw but many fans were disappointed to see the popular trio enter to Roman Reigns' theme music rather than their iconic 'Sierra, Hotel, Indigo' one.

People assumed they were saving this for their huge TLC match against The Miz, The Bar and the newly added Braun Strowman, but tweets from CFO$ seem to suggest we might see something entirely different.

In case you didn't know...

The Shield broke up in 2014 when Seth Rollins turned on his team-mates, but for two years the enigmatic trio enjoyed being at the height of popularity in the WWE, and part of the appeal was their unique entrance through the crowd and the familiar call sign of the phonetic alphabet. Here it is in action.

The heart of the matter

CFO$ are an American songwriting and production duo who are responsible for rewriting and creating a large number of the WWE Superstars' entrance theme music, including Bobby Roode's 'Glorious Domination'.

They recently made a series of tweets that has led people to believe that they might be working something special for the Shield's return to pay-per-views.

Reactions

Needless to say, people on Twitter were not impressed that CFO$ were hinting that they were going to change a classic entrance theme and made their feelings known under no uncertain terms.

As you can see the WWE universe definitely have the opinion that if it ain't broke don't fix it and would like to see CFO$ keep their hands off of the Shield theme and leave it alone.

Of course, it's entirely possible that the duo aren't working on a new theme and were just happy to see the Shield back.
