From the WWE Rumor Mill: Tye Dillinger changing his finisher?
What’s the story?
Tye Dillinger debuted a new finishing move this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE, which appears to be a new version of his Tye Breaker signature move
In case you didn’t know...
Tye Dillinger (Ronald Arneill) has previously worked for WWE from 2006-09 under the ring name Gavin Spears; he also performed for Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor (ROH). Arneill returned to WWE, more specifically NXT, in 2013 as Tye Dillinger and made a name for himself with the Perfect 10 gimmick.
The heart of the matter
The Tye Breaker is basically a Fireman’s carry neckbreaker- a finisher that Dillinger has been using since 2015. The remodelled finisher appears to be a cross between CM Punk’s GTS and the Tye Breaker.
Dillinger used the modified Tye Breaker, which is a Fireman’s carry spun out into a facebreaker knee smash, to defeat Aiden English this Tuesday night.

What’s next?
The 36-year old Dillinger will likely be seen in a more prominent role on SmackDown as the Perfect Ten seems to be pretty ‘over’ with the WWE Universe.
Author’s take
Tye has been on a long, hard road to success, and after being released from the WWE in the past, when he performed as Gavin Spears, he seems to have finally carved out his own niche as Tye Dillinger.
It’ll be real interesting to see whether Dillinger continues with this new version of the Tye Breaker or reverts to the old one.
