From the WWE Rumor Mill: Update on Breezango's possible mystery attackers
What's the story?
For months now, the WWE Universe has been treated to The Fashion Files Segments where Tyler Breeze and Fandango travel around as they remain hot on the trail of The Uggos that trashed their office, murdered their stick horsey Tully, and keeps them guessing every week with strange messaged like "2B'.
But after an old team received a repackaging recently, a lot of people were under the assumption that the trail of clues would lead Breezango to Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. However, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter seems to indicate otherwise.
In case you didn't know...
Tyler Breeze and Fandango were outstanding prospects in their own right as they followed their own unique path to WWE. But once they landed with Vince McMahon and co., people saw big things for their future.
Fandango debuted with much fanfare and milked his in-ring debut until a WrestleMania match against Chris Jericho which he won. Tyler Breeze was a standout in NXT but never seemed to capture the top title in WWE's developmental territory.
Although when "Prince Pretty" debuted on the main roster a lot of people thought he would shoot to the top of the roster due to his talent in the ring alone.
The heart of the matter
Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have been kept off WWE television for a considerable amount of time although the two have been still working house shows.
Harper and Rowan are now known as The Bludgeon Brothers leading many fans to assume they were the people writing "2B" while Breezango followed the clues. After all, The Bludgeon Brothers would be a prime candidate for being "2B" seeing how their initials are BB.
However, Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were originally supposed to be Breezango's mystery attackers and if they were still the planned mystery team, then it wouldn't have made sense for WWE to debut a repackaged Harper and Rowan in this manner if they were still a planned surprise.
What's next?
Hopefully, fans will see more of The Fashion Files soon enough. We were promised a Pulp Fiction-inspired episode this week but it didn't happen.
Maybe WWE never plans on revealing Breezango's mystery attackers which is certainly an option on the list of who could be the Uggos they're looking for.
Author's take
The Bludgeon Brothers already show a lot of promise because we know what Harper and Rowan can do in the ring. I just have to wonder who thought it was a good idea to give those insane people huge hammers?
