What’s the story?

As reported by PWInsider, Enzo Amore checked himself out of the emergency room in Miami, Florida last night and drove down to the WWE RAW venue.

Nevertheless, despite him pleading WWE to let him compete, management sent him back.

In case you didn’t know…

Enzo Amore has been under the weather over the past few days.

Apparently, Amore has been affected by the flu—much like Braun Strowman—however, the Certified G was worse for wear when compared to Strowman.

The heart of the matter

It was revealed that Enzo Amore checked himself out of the hospital’s emergency room in Miami, Floridam and drove down to the American Airlines Arena, arriving there about an hour before RAW went on the air.

Amore requested the WWE management to let him defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander—a match which was initially scheduled for last night’s RAW tapings—but the WWE had him know that they couldn’t allow him to perform sick.

The WWE executives then ordered Amore to leave the venue, and return to his hotel.

What’s next?

The vast majority of professional wrestling industry experts believe the WWE will ensure that Enzo Amore doesn't appear at tonight’s 205 Live tapings either, as a precautionary measure.

A Tag Team Match—Goldust & Cedric Alexander vs. Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari—served as a replacement for Amore’s Cruiserweight title defence on RAW. Nevertheless, fans can expect the Bona Fide Stud to make his in-ring return over the next few days.

Author’s take

Enzo Amore truly is a Certified G and a Bona Fide Stud. Not many would check themselves out a hospital and task themselves with driving all the way down to their workplace while hit by the flu.

Regardless, pro-wrestling is a considerably demanding sport, and the riks taken inside the ring are exaggerated while the performer is sick.
