What's the story?

Reports suggest that Roman Reigns may return to action, in time for Survivor Series, but what of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas? Cagesideseats.com is speculating that there currently is no timetable set for the Rotunda brothers' return to action.

In case you didn't know...

Despite playing wildly different characters on television, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas are brothers in real life. The two are the sons of Mike Rotunda, better known to WWF fans as former WWF Tag Team Champion and 1991 King of the Ring finalist, Irwin R. Schyster, as well as being the nephews of Barry Windham.

Despite their blood ties, the Rotunda boys have walked drastically different paths in WWE. Bray Wyatt is a former WWE Champion who is experiencing a 2017 to forget, full of diabolical gimmick matches and nonsensical character evolution.

That's more than can be said for Bo's year, with the former NXT Champion spending most of 2017 getting beaten up to save The Miz.

The heart of the matter

WWE's current health issues seem to stem from Bray and Bo. It was the brothers who were missing from WWE TV to start things off. The two missed two straight weeks of television before the 'viral infection' spread to other members of the roster.

Roman Reigns is reportedly scheduled to return to WWE TV around Survivor Series time, but many outlets are reporting that there is no timetable for Bray and Bo's return. The brothers will be evaluated with The Big Dog next Monday night, and one can only hope that the news is good.

What's next?

Little concrete information will be known until the evaluation next week. WWE is unlikely to make an official announcement regarding the health issues of the brothers, seeing as they have been so quiet so far.

We can only hope that Wyatt and Dallas make a speedy recovery from whatever it is that is ailing them right now.

Author's take

Whilst it is never good to hear that anyone is struggling with health issues, some time away from television could do Bray Wyatt a world of good. The Eater of Worlds has had a wretched 2017 and his year was about to get worse at TLC, with many expecting Wyatt to portray Sister Abigail.

The mysterious condition caused Wyatt to miss the show however, and Sister Abigail remains in the pocket of WWE. Some time away could lead to Bray returning as a much fresher character in 2018.
