From the WWE Rumor Mill: When to expect the next WWE invasion angle

Thi
Things got intense when Raw went under siege

What's the story?

Survivor Series is just around the corner and Raw is going to take on SmackDown Live in a head to head pay-per-view extravaganza. The Raw after TLC featured a rather brutal and well-shot invasion segment from the SmackDown Live roster to close the show. But when should fans expect another invasion angle to go down? WrestleVotes analyzed the upcoming WWE schedule and has some great insight.

In case you didn't know...

WWE doesn't pull off an invasion angle very often but they've done it a few times before. Some of those moments live on and become part of the legacy of pro wrestling. Others aren't so lucky and might be best forgotten about. But Survivor Series with a Red vs Blue Team theme is an awfully good reason to dust off this old standard.

The heart of the matter

Since Raw didn't strike during the October 24th edition of SmackDown Live this leaves a couple options when fans should expect the next invasion angle. The possible reason why WWE didn't have the invasion tonight was that it would have been too predictable.

It's likely Raw will seek their revenge from being taken under siege next week in Norfolk, Virginia. But the go-home show in Charlotte, North Carolina is also a likely candidate. After all, Charlotte is a huge wrestling city and the live crowd would eat it up.

There really aren't too many different options for when WWE could squeeze in another invasion angle as how both Raw and SmackDown Live are taking off to the United Kingdom for Raw and SmackDown on November 6th and 7th.

What's next?

Survivor Series is adding up to be a great show. But even though it seems to be pretty far away, the November PPV will be here before we know it. It is set to take place on November 19, 2017.

We could also see Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle head up their respective male teams if you read into McMahon's statements to Angle during the closing segment of Raw.

Author's take

Survivor Series will be plenty exciting and fans are in for a great show. There won't be any titles changing hands but an actual bragging rights pay-per-view is still going to be plenty of fun —even if it's not actually called Bragging Rights.
