We will soon relive this win, in all its glory

What's the story?

It was a moment of triumph and joy that will be cherished by fans for a long, long time. Charlotte Flair had her biggest moment on SmackDown Live since her arrival, as she defeated Natalya and won the prized SmackDown Live Women's Championship.

Flair was surprised by the arrival of her father who celebrated her big win with a warm embrace. We have learned from Cageside Seats that this priceless moment was possibly filmed for a Network Special, in the near future.

In case you didn't know...

Charlotte Flair was one of the biggest stars on brand RAW, before she made her transition to SmackDown Live. Since her arrival, she's gone babyface and has not fared as well as fans believed she could have.

After months of being a fringe player, she had her moment in the limelight, as she won the top prize in the brand, this very week.

The heart of the matter

If you are a fan of sports entertainment, you must have been misty eyed as you saw the reunion between father and daughter.

It was extremely touching considering Ric Flair's recent health problems, and the fact that this was the one prize that has eluded Charlotte Flair thus far.

WWE's Network Specials are extremely well made and they manage to capture the energy and vibe of the occasion very well indeed.

There are rumours that there were various cameras backstage, so we will get to relive this moment, down the line. Flair was followed by a camera crew, through the course of the day.

What's next?

Charlotte's next opponent is the RAW Women's Champion- Alexa Bliss. The Queen and the Goddess square off at Survivor Series 2017. It's time to see who's the leading woman in WWE.

Author's take

I love WWE Network Specials and if the rumours are indeed true, can't wait for this one. Ric Flair is my favourite wrestler, and by association, I'm quite fond of Charlotte Flair too!
