From the WWE Rumour Mill: Huge authority figure expected to return on Monday Night Raw
What's the story?
Tonight's Monday Night RAW seems to be set for a host of returns with several absent, sick and injured Superstars set to make an appearance as WWE builds towards Survivor Series. However, no return may be as big as the one rumoured by Squared Circle Sirens, stating that Stephanie Mcmahon is making her way back to RAW.
In case you didn't know...
Stephanie McMahon has been off television since Wrestlemania 33 when Triple H accidentally pushed his wife through a table, apart from a brief appearance on SmackDown LIVE when Kevin Owens was attacking the McMahon family.
The heart of the matter
It seems that the RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon has had enough time to recover from her table injuries and will return to open Monday Night RAW.
If the rumours are to be believed it appears that she'll interrupt Kurt Angle, and will have a lot to say to the current Raw General Manager. Here's what Squared Circle Sirens reports,
Sources have told us that during tonight’s episode of RAW Stephanie McMahon will make her return to TV and confront Kurt Angle tonight, setting up for a big survivor series match. We have been told that RAW GM Kurt Angle is set to open RAW and Stephanie will interrupt his promo.
What's next?
For those who don't remember, during the last Survivor Series, Mick Foley was the RAW General Manager, but he was fired after leading his team to a losing appearance against SmackDown LIVE. It seems that if Stephanie McMahon is returning to confront Angle, that she's going to offer him the same ultimatum.
Author's take
Honestly, this feels like a bit of shame, I was looking forward to RAW being led exclusively by Angle for quite some time, but as is always the case, we can't go too long on WWE television without a McMahon popping up.
