What's the story?

On Christmas Day, we bring you great news! A report from Wrestling News Source says that certain company insiders feel that The Undertaker will wrestle at least one more match for WWE.

They go so far as to say that The Undertaker's return on the 25th Anniversary of RAW in January, won't be 'just to wave and say hello'. We wonder what surprises are in store for fans of The Phenom.

In case you didn't know...

The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33, and many speculated that it could be his last ever performance, considering that the man symbolically placed his hat and coat in the middle of the ring.

Since then, much speculation has emerged about the man's status, with even JBL telling me in an interview that he did not know if The Undertaker was done.

The heart of the matter

The report talks about The Undertaker looking and even moving better than before, because of a hip surgery he underwent recently. Therefore insiders are confident about him wrestling one more match at least, for the company.

Moreover, they are confident of some major development when he returns to the company for the 25th Anniversary of RAW. The report also makes a mention of the fact that the announcers never directly mention that The Undertaker has retired.

What's next?

It seems like we'll have to hold on until the 25th Anniversary of RAW to find out what's next for The Dead Man. Could he be returning to seek revenge against Roman Reigns? Remember the retribution he sought against Brock Lesnar for defeating him at WrestleMania 30, years back?

Author's take

It may be cool to see The Undertaker wrestle. I'm kind of torn with regard to this aspect, truth be told.

He's no longer in his prime and his symbolic retirement was just so perfect, that him wrestling again may no longer be quite as special.
