From the WWE Rumour Mill: Reason for Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas' absence from Raw revealed?
What's the story?
Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas and JoJo have been conspicuously missing from Monday Night Raw for the last couple of weeks with seemingly no explanation for their absence. However, Wrestling journalist Justin Labar has tweeted suggesting that the trio is off television because of viral meningitis.
In case you didn't know...
For the last couple of weeks, The Miz has been a member short in his Miztourage with Bo Dallas being reported as 'home with an illness' by the ringside commentators.Bray Wyatt was also missing, with just a pre-taped video package of him transforming in 'Sister Abigail' being shown. It was reported that neither man had worked house shows either.
Many believed that their absence was part of the unrest that is rumoured to be happening amongst WWE superstars following the shock release request from Neville. However, it was reported today that neither Bray nor Bo, had left the company or requested a release so their absence remained unexplained.
The heart of the matter
Justin Labar, a wrestling journalist, posted the following tweet moments ago, suggesting that the reason that Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas and JoJo Offerman are off television is because of viral meningitis.
What's next?
As you can see, Labar goes on to state that he has no information on Bray Wyatt's status for the TLC 2017 pay-per-view on Sunday, which means that the scheduled match between Finn Balor's 'Demon King' and Bray Wyatt's 'Sister Abigail' could be in doubt.
Author's take
Unfortunately, it's hard to really understand what this could mean for Monday Night Raw going forward as the specifics of the situation aren't very clear. It could be that none of the people in question are ill with viral meningitis, but have been in contact with someone who was so they have been taken off television as a precaution.
Personally, this situation makes the most sense if Bo Dallas has contracted the illness and Bray and JoJo have been kept away to ensure it doesn't spread.
