From the WWE Rumour Mill: Two more champion vs champion matches rumoured for Survivor Series
What's the story?
There have been a lot of rumours surrounding Survivor Series, We've already been told about plans for Alexa Bliss, a traditional Survivor Series match for the Cruiserweights, and who will captain the Raw Women's team. Now more of the Survivor Series card seems to have been revealed to PWInsider.com
In case you didn't know...
Survivor Series will be a brand vs brand pay-per-view, pitting Superstars from Monday Night Raw against Superstars from SmackDown LIVE. We got a taste of things to come when AJ Styles clashed with Finn Balor at TLC, and it's all but guaranteed that Jinder Mahal will face Brock Lesnar in a champion vs champion match.
The heart of the matter
PWInsider.com has now revealed that there are even more plans for champion vs champion matches at Survivor Series. On top of the world champions clashing, Alexa Bliss is rumoured to be facing Natalya, and now it seems that the other champions on both brands will be facing each other.
PWInsider.com has confirmed the following additional matches for the 11/19 PPV:
*WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz vs. WWE United States champion Baron Corbin
*WWE Raw Tag Team champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. WWE Smackdown Tag Team champions The Usos.
What's next?
It is expected that these matches will be announced on Monday Night Raw, and if they are, they will really make Survivor Series feel special. Having a WWE event with every single one of your title holders in action will make it feel like something memorable, even if the belts aren't being defended.
Author's take
I can't be the only one excited about the possibility of a Shield vs Usos match at Survivor Series, it has the potential to be a show stealer. As for the Miz vs Baron Corbin, I can honestly give that a miss!
