WWE News: Full schedule of the new season of Table For 3 on the WWE Network released
What's the story?
The season premiere of the popular WWE Network Series Table For 3 debuted after Monday Night Raw this week in an episode entitled "Show Stealers" featuring AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon.
The subsequent guests for future episodes on the new season were unveiled by the WWE this week as well.
In case you didn't know...
Table For 3 is a WWE Network show that debuted in August 2015. It features three WWE Superstars of the past and present who get together for dinner and tell some interesting stories.
The heart of the matter...
There will be six more episodes this season of Table For Three and take a look at the list below:
- Edge & Christian with Matt & Jeff Hardy
- Jeff Jarrett, Elias, and "Road Dogg" Jesse James
- Trish Stratus, Lita, and Alexa Bliss
- Diamond Dallas Page, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair
- Natalya, Nia Jax, Beth Phoenix
- Big Show with two guests to be announced later
They are breaking the rules somewhat by putting in an extra chair at the table for two-thirds of the trio of tag teams that put the Tables Ladders and Chairs match on the map, but it is definitely worth an exception to make that episode Table For 4.
Another intriguing combination for this season on Table For 3 is Jeff Jarrett with Elias and Road Dogg.
It'll be Jarrett's first appearance on the series, and he was originally portrayed as a country music star who's hit song was actually sung by Road Dogg.
Pairing those two with the current musician on the WWE roster will lead to some interesting conversations.
What's next?
Keep an eye on the WWE Network Twitter account (@WWENetwork) for the latest announcements for Table For 3.
At the time of this writing, the next episode that will presumably follow next week's Monday Night Raw has not been announced.
Author's take...
The WWE Network has a lot of great original programming, but Table For 3 definitely ranks up there as one of my favourites.
It's always great to hear some of the old stories, but also pair up some past and present stars to see where the conversation goes.
