Getting Ready to Rumble: Potential 2019 WWE Royal Rumble Winners: Bray Wyatt
In this new series, we look at the chances that WWE superstars have of emerging victorious in the Royal Rumble match. Last time, we assessed the chances of The Undertaker.
This time, we assess the chances of a man that many thought would be the new Undertaker; The Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt is a former WWE Champion and former RAW Tag Team Champion. He has won an Elimination Chamber match. He has gone up against the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, The Rock, and The Undertaker at WrestleMania; all absolute legends of this industry.
He has never won a Royal Rumble match. He spent most of 2018 in a feud, and then tag-team with Woken Matt Hardy, before mysteriously disappearing.
A Royal Rumble victory would be a fine way to re-introduce him. So, will Bray Wyatt win the 2019 men's Royal Rumble match? Let's find out.
The Case For Bray Wyatt Winning The 2019 Men's Royal Rumble Match
The WWE thinks very highly of Bray Wyatt. You don't have WrestleMania moments with The Rock, John Cena, and The Undertaker if the brass doesn't see something special in you.
You don't pin both AJ Styles and John Cena inside the Elimination Chamber en-route to defending the WWE Championship at WrestleMania against Randy Orton if the brass doesn't see something special in you. The point I am making is that Bray Wyatt is clearly highly thought of by WWE decision makers.
Bray Wyatt is a very unique character; perhaps one of the most unique in WWE history. And the man behind the character plays that character perfectly.
He is a megalomaniac cult leader who has kidnapped at least two superstars, beaten two others into submission until they joined his cult, and terrorized countless others. Yet, the WWE fans desperately want to cheer him due to his obvious charisma.
Bray Wyatt is the complete package. He has a unique look, can have good matches, absolutely owns his character, has oodles of charisma, and is excellent on the microphone.
He has lost his way this past year but has too much potential to squander. A Royal Rumble victory would be a fine way to set him back on track.
