Goldberg on how he is different than Rock, GFW signs another big star, Goldberg throws first pitch
- Goldberg was at the Mets game at Citi Field in Queens, NY yesterday to promote the June 7th Legends of Wrestling event at the stadium. You can check out Goldberg throwing the first pitch at the game in the video above.
- ESPN interviewed Goldberg at yesterday's game, which you can read here. During the interview, Goldberg talked about how he viewed himself more as an athlete than an entertainer.
"I like the physical confrontation of a football field," Goldberg said. "I like playing nose guard. I like having two 350-pound guys trying to rip my head off. ... You look at Rock and you look at me. I'm just a knucklehead weightlifting guy from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who didn't want anything more than people to look up to him, and to provide a good example to everybody. Rock, on the other hand, he's a good-looking, Hollywood dude who likes to be out there in that setting."
- Joining Goldberg at the June 7th Legends of Wrestling event at Citi Field will be Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Amy Dumas, The Nasty Boys, Demolition, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Scott Steiner. You can get more information about the show or purchase tickets at METS.com/wrestling.
