Has Becky Lynch officially retired from WWE? Analyzing massive clue
Becky Lynch might have dropped a massive clue regarding her pro wrestling future. The Man hasn't been seen on WWE television since the RAW after the King and Queen of the Ring PLE this past May. Her contract subsequently expired in June.
Since her departure, Big Time Becks hasn't commented on her in-ring future. However, we have found a slight hint that indicates that Lynch may have retired from the squared circle.
On the latest edition of Magic: The Gathering, The Man showed up to play Deck Yeah! The interviewer introduced her as Rebecca Quin instead of Becky Lynch. This might be the biggest hint that the former WWE Women's World Champion may have hung up her wrestling boots.
Usually, WWE stars make public appearances under their real names only when they quit the company or retire from in-ring duties. Until then, they mostly use their character names. Even while promoting her book, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, the Irish star made public appearances under her ring name.
The former WrestleMania main eventer was recently seen at the Netflix media event for the company alongside her husband, Seth Rollins. However, according to various reports, she was booked for that event by the streaming giant and not WWE.
This seemingly implies that Lynch hasn't signed a new contract with the Stamford-based company. However, this is speculative at this point.
Becky Lynch's daughter hates wrestling
Becky Lynch is one of the biggest wrestling stars of her generation. The pro wrestling industry has witnessed her love and passion for the sport over the years. Unfortunately, when it comes to her daughter, Roux, she doesn't carry interests similar to her mother's.
Speaking on the latest edition of Magic: The Gathering, the 37-year-old revealed that her daughter isn't interested in wrestling. She also mentioned the reason behind Roux's disinterest.
"No, God! No, no, she hates it. It's too loud for her. So she's been around wrestling since she was like a little baby, like a tiny little thing. And the Pyro is always going on, and she loves playing around in the ring, but she has no interest in watching. No interest!" Becky said.
The season premiere of RAW on Netflix on January 6, 2025, is highly awaited. The former Women's World Champion could boost the show from a viewership point of view. It will be interesting to see if Lynch shows up on the flagship show next month.
