Has Ronda Rousey let the fans get the better of her?
Ever since making her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, Ronda Rousey has been killing it inside the squared circle. The former Judoka has taken to professional wrestling, like fish to water, with many comparing her transition to the business to that of Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. Rousey is, without a doubt, one of the top stars in the company right now and will, in likelihood main-event WrestleMania 35.

Rousey has had great matches against the likes of Nia Jax and Nikki Bella, two Superstars who aren't exactly known for their in-ring prowess. She seems to be in her element inside the ring and her meteoric rise within the company hasn't been surprising, given the fact she is one of the skilled performers in the roster.
But, one aspect of the game that the Rowdy One is yet to master is delivering a good promo. Most of Rousey's promo seems forced and heavily scripted which is a shame considering the fact that she was a great trash talker during her MMA career. This doesn't mean that Rousey mic skills have terrible all long. The promo that she cut on Nikki Bella prior to their match at Evolution was one of the best promos of the year. It's just that she is pretty bad in mugging lines given to her and does a pretty job of delivering them.
In addition to that, Rousey has also not been to control the crowd. While controlling the crowd isn't something that can be mastered in a short time, one excepts someone like Rousey not to overact when faced with a hostile environment. It is known fact that Rousey doesn't take too kindly to criticism thrown at her and her WWE run hasn't been any different. She has let the fan reaction get the better of her on multiple occasions, especially when the crowd has booed her.
Her recent Twitter spat with Becky Lynch is just another example of how Rousey has once again let her emotions get the better off her. The entire episode was totally unnecessary and in the end, it was Rousey who came out of it looking like a complete fool.
Rousey is a world-class athlete and one excepts her not to buckle under high-pressure situations and keep her emotions in check. But, the way she has behaving over the past few weeks seem to indicate that she has completely forgotten her past. We hope that Rousey learns from her past mistakes and tries to improve on the things that she isn't good at.
