Has WWE given up on Bayley? Exploring reason behind her likely absence from Survivor Series: WarGames

Bayley will not participate at the 2024 Survivor Series premium live event, as WWE creative didn't pick her for the Women's WarGames Match, which will pit Team Ripley against Team Morgan.

It will be the first time since the introduction of the WarGames format that The Role Model will not be part of the match, as Rhea Ripley, Naomi, IYO SKY and the Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will team up to face Candice LeRae, Raquel Rodriguez, the Women's Champion Nia Jax, Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton and the Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.

Bayley's absence could be because Naomi is an apparent better fit for the match, thanks to her on-screen relationship with Belair and Cargill. At the same time, her failure to reclaim the Women's Championship at Bad Blood ruled her out for the WarGames Match, with both title holders in the Women's Division being heels.

However, Bayley is a top star on SmackDown, and she will remain part of the title picture. She has emerged as a frontrunner to win the Women's United States Championship, with the Finals taking place at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.

Bayley shares excitement about the inaugural Women's United States Championship

WWE took the next step in evolving the female roster by creating the Women's United States Championship.

Bayley spoke with Headliner Chicago and shared her excitement about the new title, calling it a "huge deal."

"I’m really excited for all of us. I tweeted something after it was announced, but whether you’ve been here for 15 weeks or 15 years, or you just got signed, or you don’t really know where you lie in the division, this is a huge deal. Even if you’re just a fan and you want to get to WWE, if WWE is your dream, that could be a dream," the former Women's Champion said. [h/t 411 Mania.com]

The Role Model advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament and will look to advance to the Finals when she faces the winner of the Triple Threat Match, which featured Blair Davenport, Chelsea Green, and Bianca Belair.
