Heel turn, New member - 4 predictions for The Wyatt Sicks in 2025
The Wyatt Sicks, led by the sinister Uncle Howdy, made their debut on the June 17 edition of Monday Night RAW. The faction was formed as a tribute to the late Bray Wyatt.
Howdy, Bo Dallas' alter-ego, leads a well-rounded group of Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy. Since their debut, they have terrorized Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers. Most recently, they entered a storyline with The Miz and The Final Testament.
The coming year could be special for the group as they embark on a new journey. On that note, let's look at four predictions for The Wyatt Sicks next year.
#4 The Wyatt Sicks turn heel
Dark characters like The Undertaker and Kane have traditionally played both villainous and heroic roles. More frequently than not their characters and the accompanying fan response relied on the superstars they targeted.
Thus far, Uncle Howdy has pursued heels. Chad Gable was one of the most despised figures on the roster due to his mistreatment of Otis. Due to his betrayal of R-Truth and cowardly tactics, The Miz was also a logical target.
In 2025, The Wyatt Sicks could begin targeting babyfaces, setting the stage for a massive heel turn. Thus far, the faction has gone after treacherous names. Main Event Jey Uso and Rey Mysterio are two popular babyfaces who have a tumultuous past with their family members. As such, both men could be good victims for Howdy.
#3 Alexa Bliss joins Uncle Howdy
A popular belief is that The Wyatt Sicks are incomplete without Alexa Bliss. After all, Bliss had a close association with The Fiend, Bray Wyatt's alter-ego. Moreover, Uncle Howdy relentlessly pursued the former Women's Champion during his first run.
Little Miss Bliss has not been seen since Royal Rumble 2022, but her return is imminent. She could make a powerful statement by joining Howdy, helping him lead WWE into a darker era.
As one of the more well-known female stars to casual fans, Bliss would also add significant star power to the group and may elevate the faction to the upper mid-card.
#2 The Wyatt Sicks make their premium live event debut
Since their awe-inspiring debut in June 2024, The Wyatt Sicks have not competed at a premium live event. Their narrative with Chad Gable ran for months but was treated like a TV feud.
The ongoing saga with The Miz and The Final Testament is intriguing. However, it didn't earn the faction a spot at Survivor Series or Saturday Night's Main Event. Nonetheless, the drought could end in 2025, perhaps as soon as Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.
WWE could book a multi-man encounter between The Wyatt Sicks and The Final Testament (The Miz included). Alternatively, Uncle Howdy could battle The A-Lister or Karrion Kross in the final bout of their saga at Royal Rumble.
#1 The Firefly Funhouse match returns
Fans got a good taste of Bray Wyatt's creativity with the Firefly Funhouse, which was universally praised for portraying Wyatt's split personality and introducing many complex characters.
At WrestleMania 36, The Fiend debuted The Firefly Funhouse match to mentally torment and defeat John Cena. The coming year could see the return of one of Wyatt's greatest creative creations.
The Firefly Funhouse match was heavily praised. All the characters of the group are closely tied to Bray Wyatt. To further commemorate his legacy, they could bring back the match in 2025.
