Hell in a Cell Match, major change to The Judgment Day? - 4 possible directions for Liv Morgan following her win at WWE SummerSlam

WWE SummerSlam aired hours ago and it was an all-timer. While there have been many great premium live events under the Triple H-led regime since 2022, it is very possible that The Biggest Party of the Summer was the best yet.

The show featured several title changes. LA Knight won the United States Title, Gunther won the World Heavyweight Championship, Bron Breakker won the Intercontinental Championship, and even Nia Jax won Bayley's prized belt.

One belt that didn't change hands was the Women's World Championship. Thanks to interference from Dominik Mysterio and a shocking betrayal, Liv Morgan managed to pin Rhea Ripley. In fact, Liv was the first person to do that in years. Funnily enough, it was Morgan who was the last one to do so before SummerSlam too.

Now that Liv has retained her title, however, many are wondering about what might be next for her. This article will take a look at a handful of possible directions for the talented performer moving forward, which could include leading a stable.

Below are four possible directions for Liv Morgan following her win at WWE SummerSlam.

#4. She and Dominik Mysterio leave The Judgment Day and move on

The Judgment Day's future is very much up in the air following WWE SummerSlam. Heading into the event, the group featured five official members - JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest, along with Carlito.

Following SummerSlam, however, things may have changed. The aforementioned Dominik-Rhea issues reared their ugly head. Additionally, Finn Balor shockingly betrayed Damian Priest and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship.

With so much drama to work out and the stable's future in doubt, Dominik Mysterio may leave the group and Liv could cut all ties. From there, the two could do their own thing moving forward and leave The Judgment Day in their rear mirror.

#3. Liv Morgan's rivalry with Rhea Ripley continues in Hell in a Cell

WWE Bad Blood is a PLE planned for later this year. While the company's next big show is Bash in Berlin at the end of August, Bad Blood will air on October 5th. This marks the return of the special event after many years.

While not yet confirmed, many believe that the event will feature the return of the iconic Hell in a Cell Match. The stipulation was first introduced at a Bad Blood show in 1997 and appeared on later versions of the event in the 2000's. If WWE does include the match type at this big show, Liv Morgan could be involved.

More specifically, her rivalry with Rhea Ripley could continue and the two could clash for the Women's World Championship inside the dangerous structure. This would allow them to get as violent as necessary, but it would also potentially keep Dominik Mysterio from getting involved.

#2. She leads The Judgment Day on WWE RAW

As noted, The Judgment Day appears to be in shambles. The WWE faction has issues both in the Rhea Ripley-Dominik Mysterio camp and with Damian Priest and Finn Balor. A breakup is certainly possible, but it may not be what actually happens.

Things could be less messy than they appear and instead, a plan may have been executed to perfection. There is a chance that Liv Morgan, Dirty Dom, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and even Carlito were working together to kick out both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest from The Judgment Day.

Now that The Terror Twins have both been betrayed, the other five can unite in harmony, not worrying about Rhea and Damian trying to boss them around or steal their spotlight. In fact, Liv could even potentially become the de facto leader of the WWE faction, fully replacing Rhea and getting her ultimate revenge on Mami.

#1. Zelina Vega feuds with Liv Morgan

Zelina Vega is one of the best female wrestlers in WWE today. While she hasn't always been given a chance to show it off, her recent Women's World Championship match with Liv Morgan shows just how good Zelina really is.

With that being established, the talented star has a long and storied past with both Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. Between the aforementioned issues with Liv, which have been far more recent, and a feud with Rhea last year, Zelina was watching WWE SummerSlam closely.

Now that Rhea has lost and The Miracle Kid remains the Women's World Champion, a proper feud between Liv and Zelina could commence. Instead of killing time until Rhea returns, Vega could be the focus and the two could even battle it out at Bash in Berlin.
