Hideo Itami injured, to be sidelined for 6 to 8 months?

Hideo Itami to be out of action for a lengthy span

Seems like an injury bug is running riot at the top of the NXT. First, it was Sami Zayn who underwent an MRI on Tuesday, after he aggravated a shoulder injury prior to his match with John Cena on RAW, now it’s Hideo Itami. According to a report by PWInsider, Japan’s top NXT export, Itami, has sustained a shoulder injury and could be sidelined for 6-8 months.

Currently slated to take on Finn Balor and Tyler Breeze for the No.1 Contender’s spot at the upcoming NXT Takeover show, Itami has only worked once since the NXT tapings on April 22. It needs to be seen how the WWE handles the injury crisis with several weeks of NXT TV filmed.
