Hits and Misses from this week's RAW and Smackdown (14th - 20th May)

En
This could have been done in a better way

This week's Raw and Smackdown came to us live from the O2 Arena in London and the show didn't disappoint the WWE Universe one bit.

With Money In The Bank fast approaching, there were some title matches that were finalised, participants being added to the MITB ladder matches which is looking quite impressive at the moment. We also witnessed some high-quality matches, great feuds in the making and Braun Strowman's Greatest Royal Rumble trophy getting wrecked.

With that being said, here I will be a taking a look at some of the Superstars who took a step in the right direction and some situations that WWE failed to hit the bullseye!

Without further adieu, let's take a look at this week's hits and misses from both the shows.

Hit: #5 Kevin Owens

Ente
Owens would add to the unpredictability in the MITB ladder match

It's safe to say that Kevin Owens is one of the best Superstars on the main roster at the moment. He has got good in-ring skill set and couple that with his smooth mic skills, you have the best heel in the wrestling business at the moment.

After escaping from the ridiculously repetitive storyline in SmackDown, at first, it seemed to be Deja Vu once again for the former Universal champion and his best buddy, Sami Zayn. But now with Owens getting some recognition from the people at the helm, he has been getting what he feels has been long overdue, a serious push towards gold.

After two top matches with Strowman and Seth Rollins, even though both in vain, KO finally got his chance to qualify for the MITB match and delivered despite winning the match with some help from Zayn,

Owens' addition to the match for the all-important briefcase, just adds to the unpredictability of the match and could make it one of the best ladder matches in recent memory.

It has also put him in a position to have a great feud with one of the participants as well. Balor vs Owens, Roode vs Owens... well certainly I wouldn't mind. And imagine if he wins the whole thing and cashes in on a vulnerable champion? Well, I would like to see where this goes!
