How can WWE make Royal Rumble interesting?
Royal Rumble is always known for its unpredictability. For over a week, several fans and sports writers were trying to predict how exactly the Royal Rumble PPV could turn out. Despite all the predictions and rumors, the winner of the Rumble still remains a mystery and this is where WWE can make things extremely interesting.
Many a times, we have seen WWE give us some absolute unexpected turn of events, particularly with regard to the Royal Rumble. Several surprising aspects such as surprise entrants, out of the world moves to eliminate and escape elimination has always made Royal Rumble a must watch PPV.
This time around, WWE could add a little bit more spice to the PPV by taking full advantage of surprise entrants. Making a surprise entrant win a match will always be an interesting prospect. There have been several such instances where WWE have made surprise entrants winners and it is time we got to see it again. John Cena, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar have all returned surprisingly into the Rumble to shock other contenders and win the Battle Royal.
So who could make things extremely surprising this time around? Undertaker and Brock Lesnar are pretty good contenders this time around. The return of any of these two superstars to win the Rumble can be extremely interesting as the WWE can create a excellent feud with these wrestlers. However, the possibility of Brock or The Undertaker returning seems elusive. Undertaker seems in no condition to give more than a Wrestlemania fight and Brock, on the other hand, has only a few appearances left in his contract.
Another possibility that the WWE could look at is CM Punk or The Rock. Both these wrestlers are facing each other for the WWE Championship in the PPV and as always, if the Battle Royal takes place last, we could see the loser of the Championship bout enter the Rumble as a surprise entrant and go on to win it and later challenge the Champion again for a match.
Despite such possibilites, we mostly are going to witness either a Cena or Ryback victory in the Royal Rumble, which is a completely uninteresting move as far as my personal views are concerned.
