How did Naomi pay tribute to her husband Jimmy Uso on WWE SmackDown?

Naomi competed in a huge Tornado Tag Team Match on the latest edition of SmackDown as she teamed up with Bayley to take on Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. However, an interesting moment came from the bout when The Queen of Glow subtly paid tribute to her husband, Jimmy Uso, who has been away from WWE television since April this year.

This happened during the match when Naomi and Bayley worked as a cohesive unit and used the '1D' on Tiffany Stratton. It is the very move that The Usos used to perform as their signature maneuver in their matches. Although it was originally The Dudley Boyz' finisher back in the day, Jey and Jimmy Uso made it prominent in recent years as they used it quite often during their run as a tag team.

Therefore, Naomi may have paid a heartfelt tribute to her husband by using one of his iconic moves on the latest edition of SmackDown. While she lifted up Stratton, The Role Model caught The Buff Barbie and slam her onto the mat, executing a picture-perfect 1D. The Queen of Glow seems to have also honored The Usos in the process ahead of their rumored reunion with The Bloodline.

Many have been speculating it to be the harbinger of Jimmy Uso's return to television, as The Bloodline saga has been boiling at a fever pitch. Did The Glow use the 1D finisher on purpose to hint at an underlying message? It remains to be seen.

Did Naomi tease her heel turn on SmackDown?

This week on SmackDown, tensions were visible between Bayley and Naomi ahead of their tag team match, which was the deciding factor on who would get a shot at the WWE Women's Championship. The two best friends seemed to be at loggerheads with each other backstage prior to the bout.

Every time The Role Model stated that she would go after Nia Jax, The Queen of Glow's smile faded away with her exuding a sinister intent. However, the Tornado Tag Team Match ended in controversial fashion without a decisive outcome when both superstars pinned Jax together at the same time.

As a result, Nick Aldis booked a match between Naomi and Bayley for the upcoming edition of SmackDown, as the winner will earn a shot at the WWE Women's Championship at Bad Blood. As soon as Aldis revealed it, the real-life Bloodline member once again looked quite perturbed.

It appeared as if Naomi held a bitter resentment against her best friend as the latter once again got in her way to chase the coveted title. Her changing expression towards Bayley could be a major hint of her impending heel turn.
