How did Vince McMahon troll The Undertaker in front of the WWE roster? Exploring the hilarious tale

The Undertaker is one of the greatest superstars in WWE history. Known for his somewhat demonic and macabre character, there were very few superstars who willingly messed with The Deadman. However, one man who showed no fear when face-to-face with the Hall of Famer, at least backstage, was Vince McMahon. Interestingly, the former WWE Chairman once made the bold decision to troll The Phenom in front of the entire roster.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The Undertaker recalled how Vince McMahon trolled him years ago. On the 700th episode of RAW, The Deadman, who is a consummate professional, suffered a wardrobe malfunction. It was a huge issue that nearly led to disaster, as The Phenom struggled to get out of his coat. Well, Mr. McMahon decided to use this humiliating incident to troll the former WWE Champion.

The Undertaker revealed that a few months after the episode, and after his second match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26, he was invited to San Antonio for what he believed was a "Shawn Michaels appreciation night!" Little did The Phenom know, it was a ruse. Vince McMahon had decided to pull a prank on him by shelling out thousands of dollars for a video montage that featured his "greatest opponent," the coat that he struggled to get out of. What's more, he played the video in front of the entire WWE roster.

"So, they got half the screen is me. The other half is the coat. And then they start the film, saying that they had a handheld on me the whole entire time that I was struggling to get the coat off. So they're playing that like it's a vignette of them getting heat—the coat getting heat on me. And, oh my gosh, everybody is just busting out laughing," The Undertaker recalled. [1:26:39 - 1:27:04]

It was quite the prank, ending with Taker chasing McMahon around the arena while the roster was busy laughing.

The Undertaker confirmed that he will never wrestle a match again

At WrestleMania 40, the WWE Universe was excited to see The Undertaker make a brief return to the ring. The Deadman Chokeslammed The Rock, making things easier for The American Nightmare in his bid to finish his story. It was a pleasant surprise, which has many wondering if a full-time in-ring return could be on the cards in the future.

However, in the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, the legendary wrestler confirmed that he has no plans to come out of retirement.

At the age of 59, it's not that surprising that The Undertaker does not want to step into the ring for a full-blown match. That said, the WWE Universe will be more than okay with even a short glimpse of the legend in action.
