How your favourite WWE Superstars celebrated this Thanksgiving (22 November 2018)

The turkey is about to 'Get These Hands'

The WWE loves to celebrate special days and holidays onscreen, but it is behind the scene each and every superstar truly celebrates special days, events, and occasions, just the way regular people do. They even love to report about it on social media, giving us an insight into their personal lives.

The WWE has many matches specially designed and named after famous days and holidays, such as the Trick or Street Fight for Halloween, Miracle on a 34th Street Fight for Christmas, and the Thanksgiving Feast Fight.

This year we saw the two top tag teams on SmackDown Live battle it out at the Thanksgiving Feast Fight. The SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Bar along with The Big Show, took on, The New Day, in the Thanksgiving themed match.

Since The New Day are the kings of the themed matches in the WWE currently, we saw them make a joke out of The Bar and Big Show, especially out of Cesaro.

After the night was wrapped up on SmackDown Live, the superstars took to the road, heading back home, and got into the holiday spirit with their friends and family. Many of them took to social media to keep fans updated about what’s going on in their life out of the ring.

While we all load up on turkey, mash potatoes, and some family time this Thanksgiving, it's time to have a look at how our favourite WWE Superstars celebrated this holiday!

Tommaso Ciampa

Blackheart took to Twitter with what he was most thankful for - his championship belt. And he claims the belt loves him right back.

Dave Maverick

Probably the only depressing tweet from one of the WWE Superstars this Thanksgiving. Really hope none of you had a Thanksgiving like Maverick did. Make sure to wear an extra pair of underwear to not end up embarrassing yourself like him!

The Miz

Mike celebrated his first Thanksgiving as a father, watching football and having delicious food prepared by his mother and wife!

Sasha Banks

Sasha decided to take control of the kitchen on this gluttonous holiday, and cooked up a storm! We even found out that Sasha is a killer baker, as she prepared a chocolate pie (she even had two slices of it and had to work out extra to make up for it).

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so thankful for so many wonderful things in my life as well as so many incredible people in my life. So thankful for my family and best friends, always there when I need them, the women I share the WWE ring with, such an amazing group of hard working, passionate women that together started an Evolution, my Total Bellas and Total Divas production team, crew and glam squad, they all work so hard all year long and do it all away from their families, love you all!, all the amazing people I work with at WWE, so many of them inspire me, teach me and help me grow in business, to all the sunsets I have enjoyed, all the lessons I have learned, to the good and bad days, to my life coach and the people around her that give me strength and smiles to take on the unknown, to the people that invest so much time and faith into my sister and I, to my Belle Radici partners for making myself and Brie’s dreams come true in the wine industry, to my Birdiebee team for working so incredibly hard around the clock and bringing mine and Brie’s vision to life, to the Bella Army for their love and support, it’s unlike any other fandom out there, to all the brave men and women in our military, to our firefighters and policemen and women as well. I’m so beyond thankful for each and everyone of you!
