Hulk Hogan talks Wrestlemania return, match with Sting, Cena turning heel
Hulk Hogan spoke with Chuck Carroll on The Turnbuckle Weekly where he discussed the possibility of wrestling at WrestleMania, John Cena turning heel, Sting and more.
Hogan said that he has been doing great in training. He has lost a few pounds and isn't having any back pain. On the probability of wrestling one more match at Wrestlemania, the former WWE champion hopes that it will happen but also admitted that he has been getting in the ear of Vince McMahon and Triple H to make it happen.
When asked if John Cena would ever turn heel like he himself did in 1996, he said, "If John Cena ever turned heel and really stole some of Hollywood Hogan's tricks and backstabbing tactics, I think the people would cheer him out of the building.
“I think the fans would go crazy. I'm not talking about Thuganomics, I'm talking about being a stone cold, heartless, no good bad guy… I think Cena could pull it off," he concluded.
Hogan was also questioned about having a match with Sting at Wrestlemania. He replied:
"I don't think the match would be Sting and Hogan. Sting has been talking about the Undertaker. I've got a split decision, I think either the Undertaker or John Cena would be a great match for Sting. I really have a gut feeling that we're going to see some Stinger Splashes at WrestleMania 31. That's my opinion."
