Hype builds up as CM Punk set to feature on TV; WWE uncertain & bitter
- CM Punk: Latest reports coming out of the WWE have suggested that people within the industry are feeling bitter and uncertain ahead of CM Punk’s appearance on AMC’s The Talking Dead, on Sunday night.
As the hype build-up’s around the first appearance of CM Punk, following his disagreement with the WWE last month, which resulted in the star walking out of the industry, there is some bitterness within the WWE towards the appearance of Punk on the show.
The feeling backstage is that, when Punk can go all the way to Los Angeles for the TV show, he could have at-least come to the RAW last week which took place in his home town of Chicago. He could have talked to someone within the WWE face-to-face.
The only information that has been made public about the absence of CM Punk from WWE, was by Chairman Vince McMahon who had said: he’s taking a sabbatical.
Nobody within the industry knows what Punk is going to say about his current status with WWE, if he says anything at all, as an air of uncertainty looms over his TV appearance.
