Iggy Azalea invited to Summerslam, SmackDown USA Network update
- Pop star Iggy Azalea has been invited to Summerslam following some tweets with the Total Diva’s cast. Iggy initially Tweeted that she enjoyed watched the show. Paige and Natalya both replied, with Nattie asking her to come to Summerslam. It’s not clear if this was a formal invitation, but WWE would probably jump at the chance since she is such a big star right now.
.@IGGYAZALEA thank you!!! You should come to #SummerSlam in Brooklyn, it would be an honor to have you! #GirlPower #TotalDivas #WWE

- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that when SmackDown moves to the USA Network it will be taken a lot more seriously by creative and will be considered on par with RAW, in terms of trying to draw ratings.
Jerry Lawler has hinted that when the switch takes place in January 2016, the show will kick off with a live Tuesday special, before possibly moving back to Friday nights.
