What’s the story?

Former Impact Knockouts Champion Rosemary has reportedly suffered a serious knee injury during this past week’s AAW event, in a match against current AAW Women’s Champion Jessicka Havok.

In case you didn’t know…

Jessicka Havok herself is a former one-time Impact Knockouts Champion, having won the championship back in the year 2014 after defeating Gail Kim in a singles match. In 2015, Havok also had a tryout with WWE but wasn’t’ offered a contract by the company due to a few racial tweets. However, last year, Havok became the inaugural AAW: Professional Wrestling Redefined Women’s Champion.

The heart of the matter

During Friday night’s AAW: Chaos Theory event, Impact Wrestling’s Rosemary reportedly suffered a serious knee injury during her singles match against Jessicka Havok. As noted, this incident apparently took place after a kick exchange between the two women, as Rosemary eventually went down in agony and rolled to the outside of the ring, where she stayed for an extended period of time. The match eventually went into a quick finish as Rosemary was then helped to the back by the AAW staff, which indicated towards the fact that Rosemary’s injury might have been really serious.

Rosemary’s knee injury has also been seemingly reported and somewhat confirmed by Squared Circle Sirens earlier in the week.

What’s next?

However, as of right now, neither Rosemary nor Impact Wrestling has provided us with any sort of updates regarding the injury, but much like every time, we will keep you updated to this developing story and provide you with the latest of the former Knockouts Champion.

Author’s Take

It is really unfortunate that Rosemary has once again suffered such a devastating injury, however, we certainly hope that this knee injury isn’t as serious as it sounds and we get to see the 34-year-old return to the ring as soon as possible.
