Impact News: Impact Wrestling taping for television at major fan event

I
Impact Wrestling is coming to WrestleCade this year

What's the story?

Impact Wrestling has been making moves in Canada where they will host Bound For Glory and some television tapings to follow. But the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Impact Wrestling has a very special television taping scheduled at WrestleCade as well.

In case you didn't know...

Impact Wrestling usually records their TV tapings in the Impact Zone, but there's something unique about going out on the road.

It gives a special feel to a show knowing the wrestlers made a town to get there and provides a fresh crowd the opportunity to enjoy the action.

The heart of the story

Impact Wrestling has been going through a little bit of a transition but that's nothing new for them. Now they're making some very smart moves in regards to where they plan on recording an upcoming set of television shows.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Impact will be taping for television at WrestleCade on November 25th in Winston-Salem, NC.

Not only is this a splendid idea as many hardcore wrestling fans will be in attendance, but they are also likely to have "a ton of historical figures for cameos" on the show.

What's next?

Impact Wrestling will keep being the "pro wrestling promotion that could". Much like the feisty train from the iconic children's story, they think they can, so they will. With this kind of decision regarding where they're going to record their television, it certainly shows Impact is thinking outside the box.

After all, what better place to hold a pro wrestling television taping than at a location which will already be full of diehard pro wrestling fans?

Hopefully, there will more of this kind of thinking down the line because Impact Wrestling really needs as much exposure and good fortune they can get

Author's take

It's a really good idea to host Impact Wrestling's television taping at WrestleCon. There will be plenty of diehard wrestling fans there who could give Impact Wrestling the best television audience they've had since their tour of India.

The prospect of so many historical wrestling figures being available is also a very attractive idea. As they press on, they need to make some waves and start turning a profit soon. Because who knows how long Anthem Sports will wait before they decide to cut their pro wrestling company loose?
