Impact Wrestling News: Bound for Glory sold out
What's the story?
The thirteenth edition of Bound for Glory is all set to air this weekend on pay-per-view. Impact Wrestling received some good news before the event will take place.
It turns out that tickets for Bound for Glory have been sold out already. This was confirmed by the official TD Place twitter account.
In case you didn't know...
There are several marquee matches set for Bound for Glory. The main event has Impact Wrestling Champion Eli Drake taking on Johnny Impact for the top prize in the company.
Sienna, Allie and Gail Kim will compete for the Knockouts Championship, in one of Kim's final matches ever. Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie are also set to take each other on in a Red Wedding grudge match.
The card is a stacked one and even features cameos from MMA veterans, Stephan Bonnar and King Mo.
The heart of the matter
Whenever news breaks out from the Impact Wrestling Camp, it is hardly ever 'good'.
More often than not it deals with a change in management, brand name or even a sudden departure from the company.
We're glad to report that Bound for Glory is sold out ahead of their massive Canadian venture. However, only the pay-per-view itself is sold out, and the tapings that follow are not.
As many stars have said during the weekly Impact Wrestling teleconference calls, the fact that the tapings will air from Canada will be a welcome change, considering that it means that it'll feature a new crowd and not the same folks from Orlando, Florida.
What's next?
Catch Bound for Glory, live on pay-per-view, this weekend. Cheer on your favourite superstars, from whichever part of the world you are in.
Whatever your views on the constant change of guard may be, it shouldn't take away from the fact that the superstars put in their heart and soul, every time they step into the ring.
Author's take
Slammiversary was a great event, and I'm certain Bound for Glory will deliver in a big way, as well. The superstars have a lot to prove, in light of the constant issues with the company's management, and we're certain that they will pull out all the stops this weekend.
