In case you didn’t know…
Impact Wrestling has recently been promoting a Barbed Wire Massacre Match as oVe & Sami Callihan take on LAX & Homicide.
Impact Wrestling has been according to a considerable amount of promotion to the matchup ever since its announcement.
The heart of the matter
Impact Wrestling initially advertised the much-talked-about match to air on its weekly episode next week that is broadcasted on Pop TV.
Nevertheless, in response to a fan questioning as to whether or not the multi-person Barbed Wire Match which has been promoted over the past few days on Impact Wrestling will air on Impact’s weekly episode on Pop; Konnan simply revealed that it’ll air on Twitch and not on Pop TV.
Furthermore, Konnan attributed the change in plans to Pop TV deeming the match too violent.
What’s next?
As we’d previously reported, Impact Wrestling has partnered up with online streaming service, Twitch.
The Barbed Wire Massacre Match which was supposed to air this coming Thursday on Pop TV can now be seen on Twitch.
Author’s take
Honestly speaking, the Barbed Wire Massacre Match is after all a professional wrestling presentation—with the moves being performed by trained professionals in a safe environment.
Perhaps after viewing the matchup air on Twitch, Pop TV management could change their minds for future showdowns of the sort. Regardless, oVe & Sami Callihan teaming up against Lax & Homicide is a fantabulous match.
