Impact Wrestling News: More details on recently released Impact Wrestling stars
What's the story?
Impact Wrestling is in a state of flux as it moves from the USA to Canada, and as a result, has been doing a bit of spring-cleaning with its roster.
The latest wrestlers to leave the company are Swoggle, The Veterans of War (Mayweather and Wilcox) and Mahabali Shera.
In case you didn't know...
These wrestlers have joined a long list of names that include TNA original James Storm, Earl Hebner and the rest of the Impact Wrestling referees, tag-team Reno Scum, former Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell and many more.
The heart of the matter
More details have emerged about the most recent releases from Impact Wrestling clarifying a few things regarding the releases of Swoggle and Mahabali Shera as well as the misreporting of a release.
Impact Wrestling Knockout Alisha Edwards, who is the real-life wife of Eddie Edwards, was initially announced as being released because her profile was removed from the 'active roster' section of the Impact Wrestling website. However, that seems to have been done in error as she's now been re-added and appears to still be with the company.
Wrestlinginc.com further add that Swoggle was never actually under contract with Impact Wrestling, and whilst Mahabali Shera was just announced this week, his actual release from the company was two months ago.

What's next?
Whilst Impact Wrestling is losing talent rather rapidly, they are also in the process of trying to secure new talent, with Alberto Patron, Ethan Page (as Chandler Park), Sami Callihan, Jimmy Jacobs and Hania the Huntress all debuting in recent weeks.
Author's take
Bound for Glory wasn't the advertisement that it should have been for Anthem's all-new Impact Wrestling. However, there's still time for them to pull the promotion together and they certainly have the talent to do so, if they can hang on to who they have now.
