Impact Wrestling Report, April 13th: Team JB faces off against Team GOAT in the main event
The show began with a myriad of video packages from last week's show such as Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards' Last Man Standing Match, Sienna promising revenge on Braxton Sutter & Allie, and the return of Brutus Magnus & Matt Morgan. In the main event, Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews selected members for their respective teams.
They showed Braxton & Allie arriving at the arena, as well as, Sienna & KM.
#1 Reno Scum vs. Laredo Kid & Garza Jr. vs. The Decay (w/ Rosemary)
Thornstowe and Laredo Kid started off the match. Josh Mathews insulted fans at home by calling them marks and added that he was only going to focus on his match in the main event and nothing else. Thornstowe and Luster the Legend worked over Garza, Crazy Steve tagged in. Garza tore off his pants and threw them at Rosemary.
Steve knocked Garza off the apron and then followed up his attack with a cannonball on the guard rail. Abyss tagged in and worked over Garza before Steve tagged in again, and kept on working on him for a couple of near falls.
Garza thrust a flying forearm on Steve. Garza tried tagging in Laredo Kid, but before he could tag, Rosemary pulled Laredo Kid off the apron.
Garza tagged Luster, who cleared house. Abyss tagged in and connected with a chokeslam on Luster. Chaos ensued, and all the Superstars started hitting each other with different moves until Reno Scum hit a leapfrog curb stomp on Crazy Steve for the win.

Mckenzie interviewed Andrew Everett, who said that he deserved an X-Division title match. Shane Helms came in and told him that he didn't deserve it, but could earn it tonight in a #1 contender's Fatal-4-Way Match. Everett suggested Helms should participate in the contender's match. Helms said that he wasn't ready.
Everett accused him of being scared, so Helms said that he'd perform that very night.
Bruce Prichard came out to the ring and announced James Storm as the #1 contender for Bobby Lashley's World Heavyweight Championship. EC3, not happy with the announcement, came out, got into Prichard's face, and ordered him to read the name again.
Prichard repeated that it was James Storm. EC3 informed Prichard that he didn't trust him and claimed that Prichard had rigged the voting system. Prichard reminded EC3 that the public voting idea was his. EC3 started listing out everything that he'd done for Impact Wrestling.
Prichard advised EC3 to go backstage, look in a mirror, and try some soul searching. EC3 thanked Prichard and said that he was going to look in the mirror and ask himself how he was going to prove everyone that he was the best.
They showed a "Make Impact Great Again" promo, featuring Karen Jarett.
#2 Sienna & KM vs. Allie & Braxton Sutter
KM and Sutter started the match. Braxton applied a roll-up for a two count. Sienna tripped Sutter, thus letting Allie do the same to KM. Sienna went in the ring and yelled at Allie, thus allowing KM to blindside KM in this chaos.
Sutter suplexed KM into the corner. Sienna tried to tackle Sutter, but he moved away and tagged Allie in. Allie went on the top turnbuckle and jumped on Sienna. Unfortunately, Sienna caught Allie, but Sienna accidently tripped over KM, thus allowing Allie to pin him for the win.
Results: Allie & Braxton Sutter def. Sienna & KM
Post-match Kongo Kong came into the ring and assaulted Sutter. Kong grabbed Sutter by his neck and threw him into the corner and picked him back again for a Samoan Drop. Kong then finished Sutter by hitting a rolling senton.
Laurel Van Ness came in the ring and attacked Allie. Sienna used the AK-47 on Allie. Van Ness assaulted Allie some more before Sienna had to drag her away.
#3 Rosemary vs. Santana Garrett
Rosemary charged Garrett immediately after the bell rang. Santana applied some pinning combinations on Rosemary for the two-count. Garrett was locked in the corner, thus allowing Rosemary to use the tarantula submission on her.
Rosemary levelled her with a clothesline. Rosemary performed a big splash followed by an exploder suplex. Rosemary tried to perform her finisher on Garrett, but she slipped away and swung an elbow followed by a Side-Russian leg sweep for a two count.
In the final moments of the contest, Garrett tried a handspring moonsault, but Rosemary moved away and walloped Garrett with her finisher, the Red Wedding.

Backstage a reporter asked Davey Richards and Angelina Love whether they felt any remorse for what they did to Eddie Edwards. Angelina said that they felt none and took the mic again to say that Eddie Edwards and his wife Alisha deserved the beating they received.
At the commentator's table, Jeremy Borash revealed that if Josh Mathews's Team GOAT lost, he would have to leave the commentator's position.
#4. Andrew Everett vs. Marshe Rockett vs. Suicide vs. Shane Helms (w/ Trevor Lee) in a Fatal-4-Way Match to determine the #1 contender for the X-Division Championship.
Helms went out of the ring after the bell rang. Rockett went after Everett and nailed him with a back body drop. Everett landed on his feet and sent Rockett crashing to the outside.
Suicide hit a backwards dive from the top rope. Everett went for a dive, but Helms tripped him, entered the ring, performed a snapmare, and followed it up with a barrage of fist drops.
Helms rolled out of the ring again. Suicide and Marshe went at each other for a while until Helms snuck up behind Suicide and school-boy'd him for a two-count. Marshe beat on Everett for a while before Suicide came back in and used a DDT chop combo on both of them. Marshe retaliated with a big boot.
Shane Helms taunted Everett from the outside, while Everett went on the top rope and performed a spinning heel-kick on Marshe. Suicide knocked out Everett with the Suicide Solution, but before he could pin Everett, Helms ran in and threw Suicide out.
Suicide jumped from the apron and knocked Helms out with a bicycle kick. Everett threw Helms over the top rope. Marshe jumped from the top rope on Everett and Suicide but missed both of them. Everett recuperated and hit a Shooting Star Press on Marshe for the win.
Result: Andrew Everett def. Marshe Rockett, Suicide, and Shane Helms
Post-match Helms and Lee double-teamed Everett. Everett knocked out Lee with a hurracanrana DDT. Helms ran to the back.
#5 DJ Z vs. Davey Richards
Richards kicked Z into the corner and started stomping on him. He rammed Z with a forearm and then left the ring. Z retaliated with a baseball slide. Z jumped off the top rope with a cross body for a near fall.
Richards clobbered Z with a clothesline, but missed a double stomp, thus giving Z a window of opportunity. Z came back with a neckbreaker for a two count and then flew on Richards with a springboard back elbow.
Z went for a rolling DDT, but Richards countered it into an Alarm Clock followed by an Ankle Lock for the win.
Results: Davey Richards def. DJ Z
Eddie Edwards ran towards the ring while security tried to stop him. Eddie's wife Alisha ran towards the ring and assaulted Angelina Love. Referees came out and pulled apart the superstars.
#6 Team GOAT (Bobby Lashley, Bram, Eli Drake, and Tyrus) vs. Team JB (Alberto El Patron, Chris Adonis, Matt Morgan, and Brutus Magnus)
Alberto and Lashley started off the match, but Lashley tagged himself out before making contact. Alberto hit Drake with an Enzuigiri for a two count. Chris Adonis (formerly known as Chris Masters) tagged in and unloaded some chops on Drake. Lashley tagged in and started working over Adonis before he retaliated with a shoulder block.
Adonis walloped Lashley with a Double Underhook suplex, but Lashley tagged himself out before he could cover him.
Bram tagged in and ran straight into a Samoan Drop for a two-count. Magnus tagged in and beat Bram into a corner. Magnus slammed Bram for a two-count. Magnus attempted to hit Bram with a baseball slide but got trapped in the apron.
Bram beat Magnus and dragged him over to his team's corner. Drake tagged in for a near fall. Drake went for a knee drop but missed, thus letting Magnus tag in Alberto El Patron.
After they returned from commercial, Eli Drake tried getting the advantage over Chris Adonis. Tyrus blindsided Adonis. Tyrus with an elbow for a two count. Tyrus flung Adonis into the corner with a catch suplex and followed it up with a splash. Lashley tagged in and started working over Adonis. Lashley took down Adonis with a neckbreaker.
Bram tagged in and locked in a sleeper hold on Adonis, who started firing up but was immediately thrown out of the ring by Bram. Drake tagged in, while Lashley beat down Adonis on the outside. Drake hammered Adonis with a Skylord Slam and a big elbow for a two count.
Tyrus tagged in and went to the second rope to knock Adonis out with an elbow drop, but he moved away and tagged in Matt Morgan. Morgan cleared house and slammed Bram with a chokeslam, but Tyrus broke the pin.
El Patron superkicked Tyrus, Lashley speared El Patron and Adonis hit Lashley with the spinebuster. Magnus powerbombed Drake and turned it into a cloverleaf. Bram broke the hold and threw Magnus out of the ring.
Morgan got back in the ring and put away Bram with the Carbon Footprint. Magnus finished off the match with an elbow drop from the top rope for the win.
Result: Team JB def. Team GOAT
Jeremy Borash came down to the ring and thanked his team members. The faces came out and Alberto waved Mathews goodbye. JB took the mic and said that all the faces were his friends. Everyone waved Mathews goodbye.
