The wrestling world has been abuzz ever since ECW Original Sandman made some controversial remarks on Women's wrestling as revealed by Impact's Jordynne Grace. Now, many top wrestlers have come out against Sandman's comments and disagreed with what he had to say.

#5 Chris Jericho reacts to Sandman's sexist remarks on female talent
Impact Superstar Jordynne Grace had tweeted out former ECW Champion Sandman's regressive views on Women's wrestling a while back. Sandman had stated that he does not think women should be main eventing shows.
Here is what Jordynne had stated in her tweet:
Hey remember that time The Sandman came up to four women about to main event to tell us that women main eventing is "wrong" and "any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree"? Was this in 1998? No, it was tonight. December 2019.
These comments were not taken kindly by the wrestling fraternity with the majority coming out in support of the women involved in wrestling.
Former WWE Champion and current AEW Champion Chris Jericho was not impressed by these views and tweeted the same.
Apart from Jericho, other stars such as Will Ospreay, Tessa Blanchard and Madison Rayne also stated that they were appalled by what the former WWE Superstar had said.

Really? Most of the women wrestlers are pulling off more innovating & exciting stuff than ever before. Can't tell you the amount of times I go watch a Stardom match & want to retire cos their matches are INSANE! Let's not interfere with progress, everyone keep killing it.
