What’s the story?

Cody Rhodes’ upcoming self-financed All In event is truly destined to be one of the greatest Professional Wrestling shows of all time.

So far, several top names such as the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, Rey Mysterio, Tessa Blanchard, Chelsea Green and several more have been confirmed to appear on the show.

However, one person who is apparently not invited to the event is Pro Wrestling writer and podcaster Vince Russo, who has been seemingly banned from the show by Cody himself.

In case you didn’t know…

As per noted in 2017, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks decided to organize a big wrestling event that will seat a total of 10,000 people and, is likely to be the biggest Independent wrestling show of all time.

The initial reason why Rhodes and The Young Bucks decided to organize this self-financed event is due to a Twitter exchange between Rhodes and The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.

He had previously claimed that Cody’s home promotion Ring of Honor was not capable of selling out a 10,000 seat arena.

The heart of the matter

Vince Russo recently tweeted out stating that he was apparently ready, willing, and able to appear at the first ever All In event, despite several people already attempting to do everything in their power to keep him away from the show.

Shortly afterward, ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes took matters to his own hands when he responded to Russo’s tweet, by noting that he and the rest of the All In management do not reward bad behavior.

He further asked the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion to stay away from All In.

What’s next?

The All In event will take place at the Sears Center Arena in Chicago on the 1st of September, 2018.

Author’s take

I believe this was rather a very professional move from Cody Rhodes, who seems to be in a very determined mood to make sure that the first ever All In event is a huge success.
