Injured star to return and cost Drew McIntyre the world title? Exploring the possibility; not CM Punk
Drew McIntyre has a huge weekend coming up. Traveling back home to Glasgow, he is scheduled to take on Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle: Scotland. If performing in front of his countrymen wasn't enough, he also has a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. It's everything that McIntyre ever wanted, however, an injured star could return and cost him the title, and his name is not CM Punk.
While Drew McIntyre does have a score to settle with the recovering Second City Saint, the injured superstar in this case is Seth Rollins. The Visionary is currently rehabbing from knee surgery and hasn't been seen since WrestleMania 40.
However, one cannot put it past him to make a shock return at the premium live event in Scotland, where he could potentially interfere and ruin McIntyre's dream of winning the world title.
Rollins has a lot of motivation when it comes to sabotaging Drew McIntyre. The former World Heavyweight Champion will want to win back the title he lost to The Scottish Warrior at The Show of Shows in May.
Reintroducing The Architect back into the world title picture would allow WWE to explore a variety of opportunities, from a singles match between McIntyre and Rollins to a possible triple threat including Punk.
It would be great to see Seth 'Freakin' Rollins back in action, especially so soon after his surgery. But, at the end of the day, this is just speculation. There is no telling what the future holds for either The Revolutionary, The Scottish Psychopath, or The Voice of the Voiceless.
Drew McIntyre recently revealed the one thing about WWE that he dislikes
Since WrestleMania XL, Drew McIntyre hasn't had a lot to be happy about. He has been especially sour on Monday nights, and he hasn't shied away from letting the WWE Universe know about his frustrations. Whether it was Damian Priest, CM Punk, or the fans in general, there was a lot McIntyre rambled on about. But, recently he revealed one thing he dislikes about WWE.
Speaking to The Indian Express, The Scottish Psychopath revealed that he loathes the Money in the Bank briefcase. He stated, that while he does understand the purpose of the briefcase and the contract, he despises it. After all, he lost his title twice because of it.
Taking into account his perspective, it's understandable why he is disgruntled with all that is going on around him. However, he will need to put that aside and get laser-focused on what is in store for him at Clash at the Castle: Scotland on June 15.
