Injured star's surprise comeback, major alley to turn the tide?  - 4 WWE Superstars who may attack during Randy Orton's championship match

WWE Bash in Berlin is set to be the next major Premium Live Event that the Sports Entertainment titan will put on. The show will air live from Germany later this month and several big-time bouts have already been confirmed.

For example, Cody Rhodes is set to go one-on-one with Kevin Owens, plus The Terror Twins will take in Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day. Additionally, a World Heavyweight Championship Match has been announced.

The current champion, Gunther, will put his belt on the line against SmackDown's Randy Orton. While the match was a surprise, it does have a backstory. The two fought in the finals of the 2024 King of the Ring Tournament and The Ring General's victory was very much controversial.

Now the two hard-hitting and technical geniuses are set to go one-on-one, but will the match stay that way? There is a very real chance that things could turn chaotic thanks to interference. This article will take a look at a handful of names who could attack during the match at Bash in Berlin.

Below are four WWE Superstars who may interfere during Randy Orton's championship match with Gunther.

#4. Ludwig Kaiser could help Gunther at WWE Bash in Berlin

Ludwig Kaiser is a very underrated performer. The WWE star can talk on the mic, tell a story with his facial expressions, and put on incredible hard-hitting matches on a regular basis. Thanks to his talent, Ludwig has slowly begun being pushed as a single star.

Despite that, the A+ Specimen has long been affiliated with Gunther. The two were friends early on and have been united on the indies, in NXT UK, on NXT, and now on WWE's main roster. That often means bad news for The Ring General's opposition.

When Gunther and Randy Orton clash at Bash in Berlin, there is a very high likelihood that Ludwig will find a way to get involved. He could distract The Viper or attack Orton from behind during the match. This could then allow for The Ring General to hit a Powerbomb and pin The Legend Killer.

#3. Jacob Fatu could return to take out one of The Bloodline's biggest enemies

Speaking of incredible wrestlers, Jacob Fatu is one of the best in-ring competitors in the world. He was one of the best while working for MLW and now that he has come to WWE SmackDown, Jacob is quickly proving that yet again.

Since joining WWE, Fatu has been on the SmackDown brand alongside The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Randy Orton has been one of their main rivals, which means there is a very real chance that The Samoan Werewolf could try to stop The Viper from winning gold.

Unfortunately, there was a major scare when Fatu seemingly injured himself at SummerSlam. Many feared he would miss a long period of ring time, but reports indicate he'll be back by the end of the month. This lines up perfectly with Bash in Berlin.

#2. Kevin Owens could help Orton deal with Imperium

Kevin Owens is another fantastic wrestler. Prior to joining WWE, Kevin was a former Ring of Honor Champion. Since joining the Sports Entertainment juggernaut, he has won the Universal Title, the NXT Title, tag team gold, and mid-card belts.

Interestingly, The Prizefighter and Randy Orton have formed a unique friendship that many never saw coming. Despite both being known as backstabbing snakes in the past, they've seemingly forged a true bond and WWE fans love it.

Since Owens has a match of his own at Bash in Berlin, it is possible that he will rush out to make sure Ludwig Kaiser doesn't aid his Imperium stablemate. If he fights off Ludwig, it could allow Orton to nail Gunther with an RKO and win the match.

#1. Drew McIntyre seemingly wanted to get involved with this angle on RAW

Drew McIntyre has become one of WWE's most engaging acts. While he has been a top name in the company for around five years now, it is really the past year or so under the Triple H-led regime that has led Drew to become so unbelievably entertaining and compelling.

The Scottish Warrior has a habit of sticking his nose where it arguably doesn't belong and that happened on WWE RAW this week. When Orton and Gunther were nose-to-nose, Drew appeared and clearly wanted to involve himself in their World Heavyweight Title feud.

Unfortunately for McIntyre, CM Punk appeared and attacked him. Still, if Drew's goal is to get involved in their feud, he could show up and attack either one of the two men. This could then lead to a Triple Threat Match between the three at Bad Blood if CM Punk doesn't find a way to stop Drew from getting a title match again.
