Is Brock Lesnar finally returning to WWE? Exploring his status after subtle reference on RAW this week

Brock Lesnar's return to WWE is something fans of the Beast Incarnate are eagerly awaiting. The last time Lesnar competed in the squared circle was at SummerSlam last year, where he suffered an upset against Cody Rhodes. On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, a subtle reference was made that has fans speculating about Lesnar's potential return.

This subtle hint occurred during a backstage segment featuring Seth Rollins and Adam Pearce. The RAW General Manager approached Rollins about a match with Bronson Reed after a prior conversation with Reed regarding the same. Pearce cautioned Rollins about his numerous injuries and advised him to make a wise decision about facing Big Bronson.

In response, Rollins highlighted his accomplishments and explained why he's at the top of the food chain. While doing so, the Visionary mentioned that he had slayed beasts and conquered kings, and now it was time for monsters.

Conquering kings is likely in reference to Rollins' iconic feud with Triple H, while the "slaying beasts" reference immediately reminded fans of Seth's past rivalry with Brock Lesnar. The Visionary started calling himself a Beast Slayer when he dethroned Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 to become Universal Champion.

While this mention doesn't confirm Lesnar's return, it does raise the possibility of seeing the Beast Incarnate back in WWE in the near future. Fans on the internet are excited by this subtle nod to Suplex City. It remains to be seen whether more hints like this regarding Brock Lesnar will surface on WWE programming in the coming months or not.

What could be the potential location for Brock Lesnar's return?

The return of the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, has been eagerly anticipated by fans, sparking curiosity about the potential location for his comeback. WWE's next Premium Live Event is Crown Jewel 2024. After that, the Stamford-based promotion will head towards Survivor Series: WarGames later this year.

However, both PLEs seem to hold a low chance for Lesnar's return. Crown Jewel is just two weeks away, and it wouldn’t provide enough time to properly build his comeback.

On the other hand, Survivor Series is expected to focus heavily on the Bloodline saga, especially with the potential civil war between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa's factions. This could overshadow a major return like Lesnar's.

A more fitting time for Brock Lesnar's return could be during RAW's Netflix debut or the Royal Rumble 2025. Adding a huge return like Lesnar's would make RAW's debut on Netflix a significant event.

Additionally, Royal Rumble has a history of featuring surprise returns, making it a logical choice for the Beast Incarnate to reappear next year.
