Opinion: Is Goldust the reason why Mandy Rose is behind Jimmy Uso on SmackDown Live?
On the Christmas special episode of SmackDown Live, we saw Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville trying to get Jimmy Uso under the mistletoe. However, they were interrupted by Naomi, Jimmy's wife and she beat the heck out of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
Initially, it looked this segment was done only to have Naomi battle with the Golden Goddess on SD Live next week. However, over the past few weeks, this rivalry has grown very personal as Mandy had distracted the Usos during their SD Live tag team championship match against the Bar and cost them the titles.
Naomi beat her once again backstage but this did not stop Mandy from sending her hotel keys to Jimmy Uso on the last episode of SD Live. Jimmy Uso being a loyal husband took his wife along with him to the hotel room where she beat up Mandy for the third time.
This feud has an Attitude Era theme and a lot of fans are wondering where this feud is heading towards. So, I think that Goldust will possibly be revealed as the reason behind this whole thing and here's the explanation why.
During the Mixed Match Challenge season 1, Team Rose Gold had faced off with team Day One Glow in the 1st round. Both Mandy Rose and Goldust had developed quite a chemistry heading into the tournament and they soon became every fan's talking point.
When the two teams met inside the ring, Daniel Bryan was the guest referee and at one moment of the match, Goldust was about to kiss Mandy Rose but was stopped by Jimmy as he rolled up Goldust for a 3 count. Everyone in the arena, including Daniel Bryan, was angry over Jimmy Uso for his actions as he stopped the Golden Goddess from getting close with Goldust.
Also, Jimmy Uso and Naomi defeated Goldust and Mandy in that match and knocked them out of the tournament meaning that they were not able to compete as a tag team in the future.
I know, this could possibly be the wildest reason why Mandy Rose is behind Jimmy Uso but Jimmy was the reason why Mandy could not get close with Goldust and so, she is now trying to get into his personal life now.
The best way WWE can book the end to this storyline is by having Jimmy promising Mandy to give her what she wants.
This announcement would hype up the audience for the next episode of SD Live where Jimmy would say that he had a chat with the Authority and was able to bring a RAW superstar to SD Live and Goldust's music would hit and he and Mandy would reunite much to the joy of the WWE Universe.
