Is it going to be Sheamus vs Big E Langston at Wrestlemania XXX?
If you Smelllllllllll what WWE is cookin’?
Okay, I just got a little excited. Wrestle mania 30 shall see the end of what began at Summerslam two months back with Triple H turning on D-Bryan and hence beginning what shall be a pretty interesting heel run as a “corporate boss” along with his wife “Ms. Macmahon”.
A sudden departure of Cena from the scene (though he is coming back a bit too early, and if he is 100% then he is a superman indeed! But that’s for another day) and the uprising of Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton has changed the track and ways in which WWE was working.
The Game feuding with Big Show, Rhodes, Bryan and being nosy with nearly everyone on the roaster has made for some fresh and compelling storylines and some awesome matches. But how long would this tyranny of the “Owners”, the “Power Couple” go?
Sometime down the line it has to end. Someone must interfere after getting “sick and tired” of this autocracy. Someone who can actually “do something about it”.
As per the reports, Vince Macmahon is that ‘someone’. He is supposedly making his return in the near future to begin what should be a face run, perhaps, the first ever true face run for Vince as “Mr. Macmahon”.
We all know what this all means, right? There will be a big match at Wrestlemania to finish this off. Someone shall represent Vince and someone shall represent Hunter.
On April 6th, 2014 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana we shall find out who will stand tall as the King of the Mountain, as the Boss of this power struggle.
But who should be the competitors? Undertaker and Lesnar are slated to go one on one. Rock is not really interested in one more mania outing. CM Punk and Bryan are rumored to face each other for the WWE title.
Perhaps, Cena who might face Orton? How many times have we witnessed that? A Stone Cold return can never be ruled out either. But WWE should go with the future instead of being stuck in the past heroes.
Now, the friendship of Sheamus is pretty well documented with Hunter. That said, he is an amazing athlete who is right now recovering from his injury and is expected to return around royal rumble this January as a heel.
He should return as the surprise representative of Triple H and Stephanie Macmahon. That will not only thrust him straight into an important storyline but also attributes to the fact that he, much like Orton is best as a heel. As a mega heel lackey of the power couple he can really thrive into his role.
He shall face Big E langston in the match. WWE might go with bigger star power. A John Cena or Rock or Stone Cold or rather anybody. But they should go with the future. They have already started building Big E as a face and the guy has got power and charisma oozing out of his, well, “body”.
He is already inserted in a big story with Paul Heyman and company and he can definitely be made into a credible babyface till Royal Rumble.
These two are awesome performers and also this match has never taken place, making it fresh to the eyes.
But then WWE can be predictable and play safe, going with Cena facing Orton or Stone Cold or The Rock facing Triple H or any of his highly regarded “A+ players”.
