Is the return of Kane as a monster heel best for business

Kane

Kane

The news that shocked everybody at Raw on Monday was that of Kane joining the Authority with Big Red Machine submitting himself to Stephanie McMahon – proclaiming  - ‘The Monster is yours to unleash’

What shocked everybody was the fact that Kane allied himself to the Authority without so much as a by your leave to his previous storyline with the Wyatt family. Anyone expecting Kane to go after Bray Wyatt and his clan of goat mask wearing freaks or even joining them was surely knocked out of the park by the sudden change in the script. The abrupt change in the storyline is a much needed one but is it the right one for business. Well let’s take a look.

The change in storyline is a much needed one and will give the Authority the much needed firepower to challenge the so called boundaries set by the PG era rules that they are governed by these days even though the move seems to have been rushed in its inception. However, the rushed nature can be ignored because of the fact that the WWE has done this numerous times in the past.

Resurrecting Kane’s evil side will also help bring back one of the most feared characters in the WWE – the dangerous psychotic characters that has stepped foot into the WWE ring. Kane was used as a comic element just months after he returned back with mask in 2012 and though he flourished during his partnership with Daniel Bryan – capturing the tag-title, using him as comic relief was what many people felt was a waste.

Sure his interactions with Bryan were funny but for Kane slipping into the role of a demon comes as easy the role of being the fruity pebble good guy comes to John Cena. Utilising him as a comic element rather than the monster heel that he is was a wastage of his talents and therefore moving him back to Monster Heel status is quite justified.

Also the fact that he has joined the Authority also gives them more ammunition as the idea of Triple H and Stephanie using Orton and the Shield was getting a bit too staid. Also with the Big Show lumbering into the picture, the addition of some big size power will come as a relief to them. Also it frees up Orton to be the sneaky, scheming snake that he is which will ensure that whoever comes after him now that Bryan has been dispatched by the Wyatts(more on them later) will have to be on the lookout for a slithering Viper all the time.

Also, we shouldn’t discount Bray Wyatt’s creepy(as usual) monologue of the Devil making him attack Daniel Byan and then the sneak attack on CM Punk does raise some doubts about whther or not Kane and the Wyatts are working together or not. If Bray’s ‘Devil’ is some sort of higher power in the WWE chances are that the Authority are involved in the plot – considering that they are a poor rip-off of Mr.McMahon’s character, you can’t rule out the possibility of them ripping-off an attitude era storyline either.
Well if it is is true then Hell really is about to get hotter in the WWE – Kane and the Wyatt’s together just is a bit of insanity and brutality that the WWE maybe needs right now but could that would really bring the heat on themselves as well(PG Era stupidity!)
