Is Triple H set to bring in 6’4’’ WWE Superstar to Monday Night RAW roster? Backstage truth revealed
WWE COO Triple H might be eyeing a top NXT superstar for his main roster debut. The wrestler on whom Hunter might have his eyes is one of the most acclaimed talents on the WWE roster today.
He's the 310-lb monster, former NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. There have been several rumors of the heavyweight superstar making his main roster debut on RAW or SmackDown. And now there is a huge update on whether the company plans to have his main roster debut on RAW tonight.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Oba Femi's main roster debut isn't planned for tonight's show. Although it was highly rumored since NXT Halloween Havoc took place at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where RAW is also happening.
Fightful reported that Oba Femi wasn't seen at the rehearsals, and there was no indication that he is being planned for a main roster debut for RAW or SmackDown.
Oba Femi had a high-octane encounter against Tony D'Angelo at NXT Halloween Havoc, where he suffered his second career loss. While Femi dominated the first half of the match, his party was spoiled by the family—Lorenzo, Adriana Rizzo, and Luca Crusifino—who came out to save Angelo.
Femi had lost his title against Angelo on the October 8 edition of NXT after retaining for 272 days on a stretch. Be that as it may, his loss at NXT Halloween Havoc doesn't undermine his powerful athletic skills inside the ring, and his main roster debut might happen soon, and it might be for a popular WWE heel faction.
JD McDonagh says WWE NXT star Oba Femi would be perfect for the Judgment Day
WWE Superstar JD McDonagh has said that Oba Femi would be a good fit for the Judgment Day faction and said that the group could use him as a big enforcer. While speaking to WWE-Die Woche, McDonagh was asked which superstar he would pick to join the Judgment Day for the Survivor Series: WarGames event. He named Oba Femi.
“We need a bada** (for an additional Judgment Day member in WarGames). Maybe Oba Femi from NXT. Someone out of left field. Yeah. Somebody big. A big enforcer. I’d take him… He’s got swag, he’s got confidence, he can throw people around. I think he’d fit in. I’d take him… I wonder would he look good in purple?” said JD McDonagh. [H/T: Post Wrestling]
WWE might have the monster booked in the Judgment Day storyline, if not in the group, as another wrestler against whom McDonagh and company are currently in a feud has also praised the NXT superstar.
The wrestler is former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Speaking on the "No Contest Wrestling" podcast recently, Priest called Femi "ridiculously impressive."
He contended that the former NXT North American Champion is going to be a mega superstar, and it's all set up for him. Damian Priest, along with Rhea Ripley, is also battling Judgment Day, so there are chances that Femi will join The Archer of Infamy in combating the villainous group.
