IYO SKY to recruit two Japanese wrestlers to "change" Damage CTRL? Exploring the chances

Former WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY has been visibly frustrated on RAW recently. While she did qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match this past Monday, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai faced a defeat in a tag team match against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. This has been a recurring theme in recent times, and a visibly irritated SKY made it clear to her stablemates in a backstage segment that Damage CTRL would have to change, or else she would bring in a change.

Hence, the former SmackDown Superstar could recruit two Japanese wrestlers to solidify her stable. The two Japanese wrestlers in question happen to be from WWE's developmental brand, NXT. Meiko Satomura and Giulia could be two interesting additions to Damage CTRL.

Satomura has been absent from WWE TV since March 2023, but she is still a force to be reckoned with. Her last match for the Stamford-based promotion was against Roxanne Perez at Roadblock on March 7, 2023.

Given her incredible strength, Satomura would be a perfect enforcer for Damage CTRL. As for Giulia, although she has yet to make her NXT debut, the 30-year-old has the experience and quality to be a real asset to the group.

IYO SKY seems determined to change Damage CTRL, and the upcoming weeks could see him finally pull the trigger. The former WWE Women's Champion may even boot Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Dakota Kai out of the faction.

It will be interesting to see how the dynamics between the faction members evolve in the coming weeks.

IYO SKY is scheduled to wrestle outside WWE for the first time in six years

It was recently announced that The Genius of The Sky would perform at Marigold Summer Destiny later this summer. The WWE Superstar will take on Utami Hayashishita in a Queen of Queen Match on July 13, 2024.

Apart from IYO SKY, former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles is also scheduled to travel to Japan to feature in a marquee match at Pro Wrestling NOAH's Destination 2024 show. The Phenomenal One will square off against Naomichi Marufuji on July 13.
