Jack Swagger on how Wrestling has changed, John Cena note, more
As noted earlier, WWE is headed to Abu Dhabi this week for three events at the Zayad Sports City Tennis Stadium. The National has an interview here with Jack Swagger, who was promoting to the tour. During the interview, Swagger was asked about how pro wrestling has changed over the past few decades.
"There is more speed, definitely, and shorter matches," Swagger said. "I think that is the evolution of sports, in general. This generation is getting bigger and faster, and because of that, the style has also changed."
As noted earlier, WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann stated that John Cena recently suffered a corneal abrasion [scratch on the eye's cornea] while working live events. He noted that the injuries "were exacerbated" after Rusev's attack on RAW lest night. Cena noted on his Twitter that he will still be appearing on this week's shows in Abu Dhabi, writing,
My eye may hurt a little, but I'll still see you in #WWELiveAbuDhabi. Tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.ae. @WWE @WWEmena #NeverGiveUp
