Jacob Fatu to win the WWE Tag Team Title in a new pairing with 36-year-old star? They aren't related!
It has been a while since Jacob Fatu joined WWE, and he hasn't had much championship gold. Outside the WWE Tag Team Championship, which he held for a short while before Solo Sikoa took it off him, Fatu has had nothing. But that could change soon, as he could team up with a 36-year-old star to win back the WWE Tag titles. And the best part is, his partner isn't even a member of The Bloodline.
The 36-year-old star in question is one that Jacob Fatu has recently become quite familiar with, Bronson Reed. The Australian star will work in tandem with The Samoan Werewolf and the new Bloodline at Survivor Series WarGames in an attempt to take out Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline. But the question arises, what comes after that? And while it is a long shot, the idea of Fatu and Reed teaming up is intriguing.
There is no denying that Bronson Reed looks at home alongside the new Bloodline. So much so that the WWE Universe may not mind seeing him become a full-time member of the group. If that were to happen, he would make the switch to SmackDown, and then he could team up with Jacob Fatu in what would be a formidable tag team. Formidable enough to perhaps even dethrone the Motor City Machine Guns and bring tag team gold back to the group.
However, at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation. There is no telling what the future holds after Survivor Series WarGames.
Jacob Fatu will be making his singles debut this Friday on SmackDown
Although Jacob Fatu has been around for some time now, it's interesting to note that he hasn't had a singles match yet. Since making his debut, The Samoan Werewolf has been involved in several multi-man matches but never a singles match. Fortunately, that will change this Friday, as he is all set to make his singles debut on SmackDown.
Now, normally, when a new superstar is having his or her first singles match, it is against an opponent who isn't exactly a household name. But, when it comes to Fatu, he is thrown into the fire almost immediately in his singles debut. After all, he will be facing his cousin, Jey Uso.
The two will do battle to see which team, the new Bloodline or the OG Bloodline, will gain an advantage in their WarGames Match. There is certainly a lot riding on this match, which makes Fatu's debut much more difficult. But, if anyone is up to the task, it's him.
